During a cabinet meeting at the Camp David retreat, Trump expressed concerns about sharing missile technology, including the Patriot missile interceptors. He noted that Ukraine has been seeking a co-production agreement for the Patriot PAC-3 missiles to intercept ballistic missiles.
Trump had previously pledged to provide a license for such a production agreement, but has since backed away from that pledge. Ukrainian officials have been meeting with Pentagon officials and industry executives to work out firmer details, with Lockheed Martin, the maker of the PAC-3 missiles, committed to deepening cooperation with Ukraine.
