Trump Lawsuit Over Iowa Poll

Attorneys for Iowa pollster Ann Selzer are asking a judge to throw out President Donald Trump’s lawsuit regarding a Des Moines Register poll published shortly before the 2024 election. The poll indicated that then-Vice President Kamala Harris was leading Iowa by 3 percentage points. Trump ultimately won the state by double digits.

Trump claims the poll constituted election interference. A hearing to dismiss the lawsuit is scheduled for Friday at the Polk County Courthouse.
