Freeform’s new true crime series, ‘Somebody Knows Something,’ takes a deep dive into unsolved mysteries. The show’s host, Kara Chamberlain, is a former law enforcement officer who brings her expertise to the table. Chamberlain shared with On The Red Carpet that she is not just the host, but also the person moving the stories along as an investigator, trained victim’s advocate, and survivor herself.

Chamberlain hopes that by amplifying these stories, audiences will get emotionally invested. The stories in ‘Somebody Knows Something’ have a couple of aspects in common, according to Chamberlain. ‘There is a very good potential that they could be solved. They’re just missing a little something. And, or there’s new information or new evidence that is being analyzed or released by law enforcement,’ she said.
The show airs Mondays at 9/8c on Freeform and will stream the next day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
