Trey Wingo Disputes Claim About Ryan Clark

Former ESPN star Trey Wingo has responded to Emmanuel Acho’s claim that Ryan Clark built ‘NFL Live’ into the show it is today. Wingo, who hosted ‘NFL Live’ for 15 years, posted a graphic showing the show’s ratings over the years to disprove Acho’s claim.

The dispute began when OutKick’s Dan Zaksheske responded to a clip from ‘The Breakfast Club’ where the hosts said Clark built ‘NFL Live’. Acho agreed with the hosts, saying that nobody was watching ‘NFL Live’ before Clark joined the show.

Wingo spent nearly 23 years at ESPN and was the host of ‘NFL Live’ during its peak year in 2013. Clark joined ESPN in 2015 and spent more than 11 seasons with the network, overlapping with Wingo for about five years.
