Jesni survived the crash, waking up hours later in her wedding dress with Dave lying on her chest, having lost his life in the accident.
The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office and first responders arrived at the crash site, finding Jesni among the wreckage. She was hospitalized with minor injuries, while Dave and the helicopter pilot were confirmed deceased. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
