Tragic Accident Claims Life of 5-Year-Old in Hoke County

A heartbreaking incident occurred in Hoke County on Saturday afternoon when a 5-year-old child was struck and killed by a vehicle. The accident took place around 4:34 p.m. on Grove Walk Road in Raeford, according to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office.

The child was initially taken to First Health Hoke and later airlifted to UNC for further medical attention. Tragically, the injuries sustained in the crash proved fatal.
