Photos released by state police showed the tractor-trailer lying on its side, with cans of Michelob Ultra and Bud Light strewn across the roadway. The truck sustained significant damage, and the roadway remained closed for several hours while crews cleared the debris and removed the overturned truck.
State police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Local firefighters, EMS crews, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, the Department of Consumer Protection, and towing crews assisted with the cleanup.
