The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers struggled against the Beloit Sky Carp, losing 7-2 at Neuroscience Group Field in Grand Chute, WI. The Sky Carp took the lead in the top of the second inning with a two-out, two-run home run by Jacob Jenkins-Cowart.

The Rattlers were held off the scoreboard by Sky Carp starting pitcher Nate Payne for five innings and in the sixth by reliever Cannon Pickell. The Sky Carp added to their lead in the top of the seventh with a lead-off home run by Wilfredo Lara.
The Rattlers staged a two-out rally in the bottom of the seventh, scoring two runs, but it was not enough to overcome the Sky Carp’s lead. The Sky Carp put the game out of reach in the top of the ninth with two more runs off Garrett Hodges.
