The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers defeated the Beloit Sky Carp 14-4 on Wednesday afternoon at Neuroscience Group Field. Eric Bitonti had a standout performance, hitting two home runs, driving in three runs, and scoring four runs.

The Timber Rattlers took an early lead in the bottom of the first inning, with Marco Dinges starting with a single and Bitonti following with a home run to left field for a 2-0 advantage. The Sky Carp managed to tie the score in the top of the fifth inning but the Timber Rattlers responded immediately after, taking the lead back and never looking back.

Bitonti’s impressive performance included fourteen home runs this season, with five of them in sixteen games during the second half of the season. The Timber Rattlers have now hit 105 home runs in 78 games this season, approaching their franchise record of 117 home runs in 119 games set by the 2021 Rattlers.
