The inaugural Springfield Restaurant Week kicks off July 10, with nearly 30 local restaurants participating. Each restaurant will offer a meal with fixed price points, and 10% of each meal will be donated to two nonprofits: Ozarks Food Harvest and the Missouri Restaurant Association Education Foundation.
Participating Restaurants
Some of the participating restaurants include Amore Italian Restaurant & Bar, Bambinos Café, Big Whiskey’s, Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar, and Mexican Villa. A few restaurants will feature special menus and some will feature never-seen-before dishes for Springfield Restaurant Week.
Palm & Paddle Grille will offer new dishes, including a pork kebab. Co-owner Greg Walker said it was a no-brainer to sign up to participate in the inaugural Springfield Restaurant Week, hoping to attract new customers and support Ozarks Food Harvest.
All four sit-down Mexican Villa restaurants in the region will participate, offering a three-course meal for $20. CEO Garin Ferguson said Springfield Restaurant Week will be a way to get people to try signature dishes, save money, and give back to charities.
Springfield Restaurant Week runs July 10-19. Additional information can be found on the event’s website.
