A Siberian tiger, named Sarang, was transported from Seoul Zoo in South Korea to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, passing through the DHL hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Conservation Efforts
The Columbus Zoo and Seoul Zoo participate in the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Global Species Management Plan, which helps maintain populations of Amur, or Siberian, tigers in professional care.
DHL Express is honored to support global conservation efforts by helping transport endangered species safely around the world, according to Laurice Bancroft, senior VP of operations for DHL Express Americas.
