Two sisters in Texas, Rainy Jones and Darian Lowe, have given birth to twins within 13 hours of each other. Jones said, “She found out she was pregnant, then I found out I was pregnant. She found out she was having twins, then I found out I was having twins.”
A New Level of Bonding
The sisters have four years between them, but now they share a special bond as mothers of twins. Lowe welcomed her twins, Wilder and Walker, just after noon on a Thursday in March. Jones gave birth to her twins, Ben and Rowan, 13 hours later.
The twins just missed having the same birthday, with only an hour and nine minutes separating them. The sisters’ grandmother, Shannon Jackson, said, “It does not skip generations. That’s a myth.” Jackson, who has experience raising twins, is now a grandmother to four boys.
The sisters are excited to watch their children grow up together and become best friends. Jones said, “I can’t wait to watch them grow up together. It’s going to be awesome.”
