Landen Williams-Callis, a 5-star running back from Richmond, Texas, has committed to the University of Texas. Williams-Callis is ranked as the nation’s No. 3 running back and No. 29 overall recruit, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Recruiting Class
Williams-Callis selected Texas over fellow finalists Texas A&M, Missouri, Houston, and SMU, giving coach Steve Sarkisian 22 commitments in the class. He joins four-star Noah Roberts, the 17th-ranked running back in the class, in Texas’ 2027 backfield class.
Williams-Callis has racked up 7,551 rushing yards and 125 touchdowns through three seasons at Thomas E. Randle High School in Texas. He enters his senior season 3,828 yards shy of the state’s career rushing record.
