The Texarkana Community Back to School Bash is a free community celebration designed to help families kick off the new school year with excitement, confidence, and the resources they need to be successful. The event will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Razorback Stadium.
According to Genia Bullock, director of public relations for the Texarkana Arkansas School District, the bash will feature music, entertainment, and food vendors. School supplies and backpacks will be given away while supplies last.
The bash is open to the public, regardless of school district. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event will also provide families with the opportunity to obtain information about various organizations in the community, from health care to nonprofits.
