A disturbing video has surfaced showing a driver running a teen on a bike off the road and then slapping him in Lake Nona, near Laureate Park. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon.
According to one of the teens involved, they were trying to get the woman to pull over after she was swerving and almost hit one of them. However, this has not been confirmed by Orlando police.
The video shows the woman yelling at the teen, saying ‘Get the (expletive) out the way now’ during a confrontation after the incident. The teen, a 15-year-old boy, was struck and forced off the road by the driver and is currently recovering in the hospital.
Orlando police have impounded several of the teens’ bikes because they were not street legal, according to parents. The police are still investigating the incident and have not yet announced whether anyone was cited or charged.
