A 16-year-old was killed after falling from a moving vehicle in Trenton, according to the Trenton Police Department. The incident occurred late Friday night near the intersection of Dartmouth Street and Brampton Place.
Investigation Ongoing
Police responded to a report about the incident at approximately 10:31 p.m. and found the injured teen, who was then flown by helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation suggests that the teen was killed after he was riding on the top of a moving vehicle in the area, causing him to eventually fall off.
Neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to have been contributing factors in the incident. The identity of the teen was not immediately shared by police in the hours after the crash. The Trenton Police Department is continuing to investigate the crash in conjunction with the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team.
