Wylie ISD has once again earned the highest rating possible in the Texas Education Agency’s A-F Accountability Ratings, receiving an overall “A” with a score of 92 for 2026. The district’s success can be attributed to the hard work of its students, teachers, and staff.

Academic Performance

The 2026 ratings are based on student performance during the 2025-26 school year. The TEA’s A-F system evaluates districts and campuses in three key areas: Student Achievement, School Progress and Closing the Gaps. Strong performance was also seen across Wylie ISD campuses, with 19 of the district’s 21 rated campuses earning an “A.”

Wylie ISD Superintendent Kim Spicer expressed pride in the district’s achievement, stating that the “A” rating represents the dedication and excellence of the district’s staff and students. The district’s Board of Trustees President, Bill Howard, also praised the district’s success, attributing it to the combined efforts of the community, teachers, and students.
