Ted Danson, the 78-year-old actor, has been reflecting on his personal life and struggles during the end of his run on the popular sitcom ‘Cheers’.
Personal Growth
In a recent episode of his podcast, ‘Where Everybody Knows Your Name,’ Danson opened up about his experiences and the lessons he learned from them. He expressed his desire to ‘stop being a liar’ and to become emotionally mature.
Danson also shared that he ‘barely knew himself’ during that time and took a ‘postgrad grow-up class fast’ to work on his personal growth. He credits his mentor with providing him with a different kind of therapy and spirituality.
After ‘Cheers,’ Danson went on to star in several other shows, including ‘Becker,’ ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ and ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.’ He is currently starring in the Netflix show ‘Man on the Inside,’ where he plays a retired professor who becomes an undercover spy in a nursing home.
