T‑Mobile has rolled out a national promotion tied to the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Starting Saturday, Sept. 12, customers who enroll in the carrier’s Experience Beyond plan can receive the iPhone 18 Pro at no cost when they trade in an eligible device.
How the deal works
New customers must switch to T‑Mobile, keep their existing phone number, and sign up for the Experience Beyond plan to qualify for the free iPhone 18 Pro. Existing customers may also qualify by trading in a device in any condition and enrolling in the same plan. Current Experience Beyond subscribers are automatically eligible.
The Experience Beyond plan is priced at $100 per month for a single line, $85 per line for two lines, and about $57 per line for three lines. The plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data, plus streaming subscriptions to Netflix and Hulu.
iPhone 18 Pro Max discount
Customers who prefer the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max can receive up to $1,200 off the device when they enroll in the Experience Beyond plan and trade in an eligible phone. With the base model listed at $1,299, the promotion reduces the price to $99 before taxes, fees, and plan costs.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max offers a slightly larger screen than the Pro model and adds up to 15 extra hours of video playback, delivering up to 45 hours of video on a full charge.
Device specifications
Apple advertises the iPhone 18 Pro as being roughly 50% faster than previous generations and capable of up to 13 more hours of video playback. Both the Pro and Pro Max are available in four colors: Burgundy, Silver, Black, and a fourth unspecified shade.
Additional offers
For customers who are not ready to switch to the iPhone 18 line, T‑Mobile also promotes a separate offer: trade in a current phone and switch to a Google Pixel for free, also tied to the Experience Beyond plan.
