Sumter County Deputies Search for Armed Suspect After Shooting Incident

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for 18-year-old Quamariyontae Dior Harris, who is suspected of discharging a weapon during a domestic incident in a residential area. The incident has prompted a search for Harris, who is believed to be armed with a long rifle.

Details of the Incident

According to the sheriff’s office, Harris fired at multiple individuals during the altercation. Deputies have been unable to apprehend him and are urging the public to remain vigilant. Harris has outstanding warrants dating back to April, adding urgency to the search.

Described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, Harris was last seen wearing black shorts, a black jacket, and a camouflage mask. He is believed to be traveling on foot, heading northwest from Northeast Ninth Street.
