Subaru Recalls 541 237 Vehicles Over Safety Labels

Subaru is recalling 541,237 vehicles due to incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) labels, which could lead to potential risks for drivers. The recall affects various Subaru models.

Recall Details

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) posted a notice about the recall. Subaru will send corrected labels to owners by mail at no cost. Owners can also visit a Subaru dealership to have the corrected label installed free of charge.

Recall notification letters are scheduled to begin mailing on August 25. Subaru will send an additional notice once the replacement labels become available. Customers with questions about the recall can contact Subaru at 1-844-373-6614.
