The inaugural Pops in the Park, presented by the Springfield Art Museum, was a huge success, with over 4,000 guests attending the event. This year’s concert promises to be just as exciting, with a new theme featuring ’80s pop hits from artists like A-ha, Journey, and Devo.
Event Details
The 2026 Pops in the Park is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Phelps Grove Park. The event is free and open to the public, with no tickets required. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
Kate Francis, executive director of the Friends of the Springfield Art Museum Foundation, said that the organizing team is optimistic about this year’s event, with a fresh theme and the same high-quality entertainment as last year.
