South Dakota will receive $149,399 from a bankruptcy trustee of 23andMe, a genetic testing company, according to a news release from Attorney General Marty Jackley’s office.
The settlement is part of a larger agreement that will see $1,560,000 go to the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. However, the distribution of funds within the program is currently unknown.
