Six Flags Over Texas Debuts Record Breaking Coaster

Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is set to debut the world-record-breaking ‘Tormenta Rampaging Run’ coaster on June 26. The coaster, constructed by Bolliger & Mabillard, reaches 309 feet above ground and has a 285-foot drop.

Coaster Details

Riders will experience speeds of 87 miles per hour on a ride spanning over 4,000 feet. The coaster has broken multiple world records, including the tallest dive coaster, fastest dive coaster, and longest dive coaster at 4,199 feet.

The new ride is opening ahead of the Arlington amusement park’s 65th anniversary on August 1. The park is located at 2201 Road to Six Flags in Arlington, and more information can be found at www.sixflags.com/overtexas.
