SIOUX FALLS — City leaders in Sioux Falls announced the future receipt of $15 million in grant funding from the Bezos Earth Fund’s Greening America’s Cities initiative to revitalize a hidden pond in town.
Revitalization Efforts
The Bezos Earth Fund is a global organization based in the US, started by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos. It focuses on creating new parks, but also revitalizing neglected spaces, such as the one behind us, explained Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken.
