The Sheridan County Commissioners recently approved a variance from the minimum lot area zoning standard for a property in the A agricultural district. The petitioners, William and Margaret Ziegler, applied for the variance to reduce the size of their parcel from approximately 8.46 acres to 7.65 acres.
Details of the Variance
The variance will allow the Zieglers to convey approximately 0.81 acres of their property to the adjacent Puskawik parcel, increasing its area to 20.05 acres. The Planning and Zoning Commission had previously recommended approval of the variance.
