The city of Round Rock is accepting nominations for its Local Legends recognition program through June 30. Community members can recommend individuals or families who made significant contributions to the city at least 30 years ago, as well as organizations, businesses, groups, publications, and institutions that have made a lasting impact on the city.
About the Program
Local Legends are selected by the Round Rock Historic Preservation Commission from a pool of nominations submitted by the public. Last year, the city recognized Rev. Dr. A.W. Anthony Mays and Round Rock Independent School District.
Nominations must be submitted using the city’s form, which can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to Local Legend Nominations, Planning & Development Services Department, 301 W. Bagdad Ave. Suite 210, Round Rock, TX 78664.
