The Sheridan City Council met for their first regular business meeting of July and approved a new Master Fee Schedule. The last Master Fee Schedule was approved in July 2023. City staff evaluated the schedule to ensure that fees remain accurate, transparent, and reflective of current operations.
Master Fee Schedule Review
The Fee Schedule Review included an assessment of current resolutions dating back to 1994, evaluation of related code language, review of departmental fee practices, and verification of fees currently administered by the City. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger stated that the focus was not on generating new revenue, but rather on creating a complete, accurate, and user-friendly inventory of City fees.
