The Shepherdsville Aquatic Park is set to open in the fall after months of delays. The park, located off Joe B Hall Parkway, will feature an indoor portion with an eight-lane competition pool, six pickleball courts, a concession stand, and a police station.
Facilities and Pricing
The outdoor portion of the facility, set to open next spring, will include space for food trucks, shaded seating, two 26-foot-tall waterslides, a splash pad, and a zero-entry pool. Daily pricing for the aquatic park will be as follows: Infant/Toddler (0-3): Free, Child (3-12): $5, Teen (13-18): $7, Adult (18-59): $7, Senior (60+): $5, Family of 4: $20, Family Add-On: $5. Seasonal and annual memberships are also available.
The project is part of a series of investments in the city as the area continues to grow. According to Mayor Jose Cubero, the park will be a significant addition to the city, offering a fun and family-friendly environment.
