Another author, Eddie Holmes, said 20 percent, then walked it back to 10 percent. These scientists were in direct contact with the intelligence community and NIH leadership throughout the pandemic.

Senator Paul has also released records showing Dr. Fauci’s ties to the national security apparatus, including a 2003 review of a National Intelligence Council paper on SARS threats. On January 31, 2020, Fauci told Andersen to take his furin cleavage site concerns to the FBI and MI5.

Senator Paul’s committee has released documents showing seizures of biological agents, including coronavirus samples, being smuggled in and out of the United States by Chinese-linked researchers. Dr. Fauci will testify before Senator Paul’s committee under subpoena on July 29.
