Science Museum Oklahoma Hosts Space Day

With school out and summer in full swing, Science Museum Oklahoma is inviting families to spend the day and night exploring the science of space this Friday.

Space Day at Science Museum Oklahoma

Space Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and is included with general admission. The event is designed to get people of all ages excited about the science of space.

Throughout the day, families can participate in hands-on activities, meet experts, and even take part in a scavenger hunt.

Sally’s Night at Science Museum Oklahoma

When the sun goes down, Sally’s Night begins. The free event, made possible through Bank of Oklahoma, honors Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. Museum leaders hope the event will encourage young people to see themselves in STEM careers.

Sally’s Night starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday. You can find information about both events online.
