The 2026 Dreams Fulfilled Scholarship Gala was an unforgettable evening as it officially kicked off the 2026 Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival. Hosted by Chosen For The Arts, the sold-out event brought together community leaders, sponsors, scholarship recipients, and supporters for a night dedicated to honoring legacy, celebrating achievement, and investing in the future.
Community Leaders Honored
Throughout the evening, more than $8,000 in scholarships were awarded to participants of the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant Program and Chosen For The Arts scholarship recipients through the support of the Tourism Leadership Council, Savannah State University, Eichholz Law Firm, Majestic Events, LEW Consulting, the James L. Toles IV Foundation, and other community partners.
We were proud to honor Roger Moss, Lillian Grant-Baptiste, Vaughnette Goode-Walker, Vincent Barnwell, Tanya Milton, Kareem Hill, Dr. Estella Shabazz, and surprise honoree Moncello Stewart for their outstanding leadership and service to our community.
A special thank you to our sponsors and partners, including Comcast, Chatham Area Transit (CAT), Visit Savannah, Hyatt Regency Savannah, Inspire Technologies, PNC Parking, Satin and Stems Studio, and the many organizations and individuals who helped bring this vision to life.
From the powerful performances by TG Live Band and Giovanna Jones to the inspiring stories shared throughout the evening, the Gala truly embodied this year’s theme, “The Crown Was Never Removed: Legacy Worn Loud.”
Thank you, Savannah, for showing up and showing out. The celebration continues as we move into a month of events, education, culture, and community through the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival.
