A community meeting is scheduled to take place in Santa Barbara to discuss wildfire preparations and response. The meeting, hosted by local fire agencies, the Santa Barbara Police Department, and the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office, will cover key information on wildfire risks, brush removal preparation, evacuation planning, and personal preparedness.

Meeting Details

The meeting will be held on the west campus of Santa Barbara City College from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the BC Forum. Parking is free. The meeting will not only focus on traditional front country areas but also on dangerous spots, including around Elings Park, Hidden Valley, the Douglas Family Preserve, Hope Ranch, Honda Valley Park, and TV hill.
