In the heart of San Francisco, a unique fitness experience is taking place. Coach B, also known as Greg Bianchi, has created a mobile gym that brings fitness to the community. His truck, which he calls the “gymmobile,” is equipped with modified scaffolding and a variety of workout equipment.
A Passion for Fitness
Bianchi’s passion for fitness began when he was a track-and-field athlete at Arizona State University. After an injury, he became a student manager for the team and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and physical education. He then went on to get a master’s degree in sports science and management at the United States Sports Academy in 2006.
Bianchi’s approach to fitness is centered around community and fun. He believes that working out shouldn’t be a chore, but rather an enjoyable experience that brings people together. His gymmobile has allowed him to cultivate a schedule tailored to his own life, with group workout sessions, personal classes, and corporate fitness classes throughout the Bay Area.
A Mobile Gym Like No Other
The gymmobile is a one-of-a-kind fitness experience. Bianchi has added a mobile barbecue attachment to the truck, allowing him to host outdoor fitness classes and social events. His clients love the unique experience of working out in different locations around the city, from Dolores Park to Ocean Beach.
Bianchi’s goal is to inspire people to keep moving and stay active, regardless of their age or fitness level. He believes that fitness should be fun and accessible to everyone, and his mobile gym is a testament to that philosophy.
