Summertime heat is upon San Antonio as Independence Day approaches. Daytime highs in the low-to-mid 90s are expected for San Antonio and the Hill Country.
While daytime temperatures will appear normal, weather forecasters are still urging caution if you are spending much time outside during peak afternoon hours. The heat index in some areas could hover around 100 degrees.
