Colorado Springs Police Department reported that 19 individuals were cited for reckless driving and street racing in a large car meet near the 3100 block of Powers Boulevard.
On June 20, officers received multiple calls about vehicles racing and driving recklessly at several locations in the area. At approximately 11:09 p.m., officers located approximately 100 vehicles gathered in a parking lot and observed reckless driving and drinking in the parking lot.
19 individuals were cited for trespassing, and one traffic citation was issued, according to police.
