A call to remove a snake from beneath an Aledo home turned into a much bigger job when wildlife experts discovered an entire den of rattlesnakes hiding in the crawl space.
Rattlesnake Infestation in Aledo
Dallas Fort Worth Wildlife Control collected nearly two dozen rattlesnakes from beneath the home, according to owner Randall Kennedy. Kennedy estimated the crew collected about two dozen snakes. He said rattlesnake sightings are especially common in Aledo.
Kennedy said people are often surprised to learn his crews find rattlesnakes throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. On hot days, he said, the venomous reptiles often look for shelter from the heat. The space beneath this particular Aledo home offered just that, along with potential prey.
