The Los Angeles Rams held a joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, with defensive end Myles Garrett sitting out due to knee swelling. Wide receiver Puka Nacua also left the practice early with an apparent injury.

Rams head coach Sean McVay stated that Garrett did not participate as a precaution, and that the two-time AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year is feeling 85% healthy. The Rams are still learning how to manage Garrett’s workload in practice.
Cowboys reserve linebacker Justin Barron was the standout performer of the day, intercepting Rams starting quarterback Matthew Stafford once and backup Stetson Bennett twice. The two teams will hold another joint practice next week with the New Orleans Saints.
