Downed power lines shut down part of a road in Raleigh, causing hundreds to lose power. Pleasant Valley Road at Deblyn Avenue and part of Millbrook Road are closed as officers detoured traffic around the area.
Duke Energy’s outage map at one point showed about 1,000 people in the vicinity without power. As of 10:30 p.m., about 300 people are still without power. It is unclear what caused the power lines to go down.
