Racing Louisville FC continued its hot streak with a 4-1 win over Boston Legacy FC on Saturday night at Lynn Family Stadium.
Kayla Fischer scored twice, the first brace of her career, and Katie O’Kane and Emma Sears added goals. It was the 20th goal of her racing career for Sears.
After starting the season 2-10-1, Racing is 4-1-1 in its last six matches. “Just absolutely so proud of this group,” Racing Louisville FC head coach Bev Yanez said.
Fischer scored the first goal in the 44th minute and added a second off a great cross from Sears to cap off the scoring. “We have now six players with braces,” Fischer said. “So if we can spread out the goals like that’s amazing and like get everyone scoring, that’s pretty awesome.”
Racing is back in action on Wednesday against Seattle Reign FC at Lynn Family Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
