Pueblo Fire Department (PFD) helped capture an approximately 1-year-old bear alongside Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) and the Pueblo Police Department.
PFD says the bear was originally spotted near La Vista Road. They encourage the community to be aware of their surroundings as wildlife seek refuge from fires.
CPW says the 90-pound yearling was immobilized and taken to a bear habitat, where they were then given a wake-up drug.
