Public work employees from the City of Prineville assisted in rescuing a family of baby quail after they fell into a storm drain.
According to Dale Mohler, he saw the quail fall into the storm drain and contacted the city. Once they arrived, all nine baby quail were rescued and reunited with their mom and dad.
Mohler expressed his gratitude towards Prineville Public Works for their help, saying, “I just really want to give a shout out to Prineville Public Works for showing up and taking care of them. It is so nice to see some happy news in these times,”
