Polk County sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help to identify a man accused of buying nearly $3,000 worth of Pokemon cards using stolen credit card numbers at hobby shops in Lakeland and Plant City.
Incident Details
According to reports, the suspect made two separate transactions on July 11, 2026. The man first spent $1,284 on Pokemon cards at the Flo-Go Shop in Lakeland, and then traveled to Plant City and bought an additional $1,698.50 in trading cards from the Plant City Card Shop. Investigators later determined that stolen credit card information was used to complete both purchases.
