A tragic accident occurred in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Tuesday night, resulting in the death of a young motorcyclist from Pinellas Park. The incident took place shortly before 10 p.m. at the intersection of 21st Avenue North and Tyrone Boulevard North.
According to authorities, a white Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling eastbound on 21st Avenue North. The driver attempted to make a left turn onto Tyrone Boulevard North, but failed to yield the right of way at the intersection. This oversight led to a collision with a southbound black and gray Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, identified as 22-year-old Xavier Joshua Strunk, was immediately transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. Despite the medical team’s efforts, Strunk succumbed to his injuries. Police have confirmed that his family has been notified of the tragic loss.
