The Philly Pops are heading to the Centennial District in West Fairmount Park to perform at the Highmark Mann Center on August 21, 28, and September 18. The collaborative concerts will feature an array of artists, including Gregory Alan Isakov, a Philadelphia native, and the best-selling R&B group of all time, Grammy Award-winning Boyz II Men.
Upcoming Performances
The Philly Pops’ music director, Chris Dragon, will conduct two performances in August, starting on the 21st. On August 28, it’s tribute night with a ‘Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration.’ The performances will take place in the TD Pavilion at the Highmark Mann Center.
According to Matt Koveal, Executive Director of the Philly Pops, ‘Music under the stars, the great outdoors, the joy of the Philly Pops, it doesn’t get much better.’ The Philly Pops are a popular orchestra that plays all different styles of music and are truly a treasure of Philadelphia.
