A Philadelphia woman, Kayla Concannon, had her 2019 Honda Odyssey stolen in July. She later found parts from the vehicle being sold on Facebook Marketplace and exchanged text messages with the person selling them.

Stolen Vehicle Found

Concannon said she had worked hard to save enough money to buy the vehicle in February. She used it to take her children out during the day and to get to her overnight job. The vehicle was locked and the keys were inside when it was taken.

Concannon suspected the vehicle had been stolen for parts and searched Facebook Marketplace. She immediately recognized the listings as parts from her vehicle. The seller, who she described as using a fake name, communicated with her by text message and attempted to sell her parts from the vehicle without realizing she was the owner.

Concannon turned the information over to Philadelphia police but has not seen any results so far. She has had to find another way to get to work and remains hopeful, saying she has faith in God.
