A person was rescued after falling 50 feet down an embankment Monday evening in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Massachusetts Fire District 7, a mutual aid association serving 28 cities and towns, said the victim had fallen about 50 feet down an embankment on Crane Street.
A tech rescue team responded with a Stokes basket to be used in a rope rescue. Fire officials said on social media around 8:45 p.m. that the person had been rescued. No information about the victim’s condition was immediately available.
