The Peace Center, a nationally acclaimed nonprofit, serves as the cultural heart of the Upstate on a six-acre campus in downtown Greenville. Founded in 1990, the Peace Center engages the community through performances, education programs, and outreach initiatives that expand access to the arts.
Mission and Impact
Guided by a vision to unite people and transform lives through inspiring artistic experiences, the Peace Center fosters connection and creativity throughout the region. The Peace Center presents over 400 performances and events annually for 350,000 patrons and generates a $90 million annual statewide economic impact.
The Peace Center’s campus includes five music venues, two of which opened earlier this year. Support the Peace Center by becoming a donor and joining a community dedicated to artistic excellence. Philanthropic contributions help bring world-class performances to the Upstate and expand access to arts education while strengthening creativity, well-being, and quality of life.
