Parrot Island Waterpark in Fort Smith is showing appreciation for local educators with a special event. On Saturday, August 1, teachers and school staff can enjoy free admission to the waterpark from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The event is a way for Parrot Island Waterpark to recognize the dedication and hard work of educators in the community. Attendees can spend the day enjoying the park’s water slides, wave pool, lazy river, FlowRider, and family-friendly aquatic play areas.
Not only can educators enjoy the park for free, but they can also purchase admission for up to three immediate family members at 50% off. The event is open to the public, with regular admission rates applying to all other guests.
To participate, educators must show a valid school ID or proof of employment. It’s a great opportunity for families to have fun together before the new school year begins.
