Packers Coach LaFleur Talks Pre-Season

The Green Bay Packers are set to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in their pre-season opener on Thursday. Coach Matt LaFleur talked about game planning for pre-season games and what they like about cornerback Benjamin St-Juste.

Quarterback Jordan Love

LaFleur said that Love will play in the pre-season game, but did not specify how much he will play. LaFleur compared Love to Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, saying that Love is the best he’s been around at the line of scrimmage.

The Packers are also set to debut their Rivalries uniforms this season in a week 5 game against the Chicago Bears. The game will be presented by American Family Insurance and will kick off at 3:25 p.m. on FOX.

Roster Moves

The Packers have signed safety Trey Dean III and safety Tra Fluellen, and released tight end Drew Biber and guard Karsen Barnhart. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions on Tuesday.
